Cheer Team

Led by Coach Morgan with Coach Ashley and Isa, this high-energy class will help cheerleaders refine their routines, master proper form, and enhance their cheer skills. Whether you’re new to cheer or looking to take your skills to the next level, this class will help you shine! Kids on the team will sideline cheer over the winter months for the Yelm Basketball League!

Robotics Team

Get hands-on with Coach Kassi and Kathleen as you dive into robotics using LEGO Spike Prime kits! Students will complete challenges through the FIRST LEGO League, learning essential coding and problem-solving skills while working on exciting team-based projects. They will also compete against other teams! Led by experienced teachers, Coach Kassi and Coach Kathleen

The Great Outdoors Lab

Led by Coach Josh, a military veteran with extensive survival training and years of hands-on experience in the wild, this class is all about adventure, confidence, and real-world skills. Students will start by mastering the basics, like tying essential knots, then move on to identifying edible plants, building shelters, and even outdoor cooking. Each session is designed to build practical knowledge while encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and self-reliance. Whether your child dreams of camping, hiking, or just wants to learn how to thrive outside, The Great Outdoors Lab will give them the tools to succeed—and have fun doing it!

Beginner Guitar Fundamentals and Intermediate Guitar

Start your musical journey! In this beginner-friendly class, students will learn to play guitar, covering the basics of chords, rhythm, and performance. Students must bring their own acoustic or electric guitar and amp. Performance opportunities include local events like Christmas in the Park! 

Choir/Singing with Coach Theresa
Open to all experience levels

Discover the joy of singing in a supportive and fun group environment! Led by the talented and encouraging Coach Theresa, this class helps students build confidence in their voice while learning proper vocal techniques, breath control, pitch, and harmony. Students will explore a variety of musical styles, practice group performance skills, and develop stage presence—all while having fun and connecting with others.

Whether your child is new to singing or already loves to perform, this class is designed to meet them where they are and help them grow. Come find your voice and be part of something special.

Drums

Ready to take your skills further? This class builds on guitar fundamentals while also introducing drumming. Students must bring their own instruments and will have opportunities to perform at community events throughout the year.

Level Up Lounge – Games, Chess, & More!

A fun, social hangout for teens 6th-8th and 9th-12th! Learn and compete in chess, enjoy card and tabletop games, and participate in monthly gaming tournaments featuring Nintendo Sports, Mario Kart, and more. As this class grows, we aim to create a safe, welcoming teen space for fun and connection.

Culinary– Cooking & Baking

A hands-on cooking class where students learn essential kitchen skills while making delicious, kid-friendly recipes! Each month will have a fun, unique theme:

  • Week 1: Breads & baked goods
  • Week 2: Appetizers & snacks
  • Week 3: Entrées & main dishes
  • Week 4: Desserts & sweet treats

Baseball Academy

Join Coach Blake for a high-energy training experience focused on fundamentals, skill development, and baseball IQ. Athletes will refine their hitting, fielding, throwing, and game awareness through drills designed to improve performance on the field. If your athlete wants to earn more playing time and build a stronger foundation in the game, this class is the perfect opportunity to level up their skills! 

Sewing Fundamentals

Join Coach Jenn as she introduces kids to the art of sewing in a fun, hands-on way! Each week, students will learn new stitches and techniques while completing creative projects they can be proud of. From simple beginnings to building more advanced skills, this class is perfect for kids who love to make, create, and design. With years of experience, Coach Jenn is excited to share her knowledge and inspire the next generation of makers!

Art

In this engaging class, students will explore a variety of art techniques while experimenting with different materials and styles. Each week brings a new opportunity to create unique projects that spark imagination and allow self-expression. Best of all, kids will get to take home their masterpieces to share and enjoy! With Coach Jenn’s guidance, students will build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of art.

Leadership with Coach Michelle
For community-minded students ready to make a difference

This class is designed for students who want to lead with purpose and create real impact in their community. Under the guidance of Coach Michelle, students will learn how to plan, organize, and run community events and service initiatives—from start to finish. They’ll gain hands-on experience working as a team, managing projects, and collaborating directly with local organizations, city leaders, and government officials.

Leadership is more than a title—it’s about action, empathy, and influence. This class empowers students to develop communication skills, civic awareness, and the confidence to turn ideas into meaningful change. Perfect for youth who are passionate about service and want to build skills that last a lifetime.
